Metal working is a vast subject, and a useful one.
To get into it, in our workshop we have everything you need to cut, grind and electrode weld.
Simple and very versatile processes.
We’ve already seen several makers having fun with sparkles.
We saw them making furniture and mechanisms in our lab.
We will show you how to set up and dismantle your work area, how to use and maintain shared tools and, supported by more experienced makers, we will accompany you step by step to create your first frame.
We will also give you fundamental tips on your personal safety and that of the people around you.
Then you can begin your steel and iron-based project, in complete autonomy.

To enroll for this workshop, booking in advance is required; the fee is 100 euros and includes a practical and theoretical session with the teacher and a free session to practice.
The fee includes all materials, tools and personal protection.The course is reserved for lofoio members.
Our participation fees are used to cover the out-of-pocket costs of carrying out each activity, divided among those who participate. This is why we ask you in advance. If there are any impediments to participating between registration and the event, please let us know: together we will look for a person to replace you in time, and your fee will remain valid for another of our activities. However, if the course is canceled or moved by us, you are entitled to a refund.
