With Giacomo “Momo” Casini, our favorite woodworker, we can take a journey into the traditional art of joinery.
This ancient knowledge is a set of techniques and knowledge that date back to when self-tapping screws were a rarity… yet they are still the best way to put together a piece of furniture.
We give you the basics and then you choose which technique to apply. Let’s start with the dovetail joint: the one that simply cannot be missing from your perfect Geppetto repertoire. Other basic joints will follow, to be performed with precision and manual blades.
We believe in the usefulness of the mortise and tenon joint, and we won’t let you walk away without making it happen.
If the group pulls and we find the time, we’ll pass you the technical legacy behind the tooth joint and maybe even the hidden tooth.
You will certainly know how to use it.

To enroll in this course, booking in advance is required.The fee is 100 euros, there are at least two practical lessons.The fee includes all materials and tools.The course is reserved for members of lofoio and the membership fee is 20 euros.
Our participation fees are used to cover the out-of-pocket costs of carrying out each activity, divided among those who participate. This is why we ask you in advance. If there are any impediments to participating between registration and the event, please let us know: together we will look for a person to replace you in time, and your fee will remain valid for another of our activities. However, if the course is canceled or moved by us, you are entitled to a refund.
