Our tinker space is full of carpenter’s tools, but who can say they know how to use them all?
Where they are, how they are maintained and above all how they are used safely: if you want to use lofoio to create your wooden projects, our training workshops are perfect.
With the initiation to of our wood lathe you will learn what you need to work on your ideas independently.

In this workshop you will learn:
- how to up the work area
- use of personal protective equipment
- choice of wood, setting the wood piece
- use of the lathe and the bench grinder
- gouges, choice and maintenance
- dismantling, cleaning, disposal
The initiation workshop is essential both to independently access the laboratory and to enroll in the fresh wood turning course.

Fee: 100 euros.
Including materials, tools, protections.
Scheduled appointments:
– 3 hours of practical and theoretical lessons with the teacher
– 2 sessions of 4 hours of practice with the tutor (at times tailored to the participants)
The course is reserved for lofoio members (ask for membership here).
Our participation fees are used to cover the out-of-pocket costs of carrying out each activity, divided among those who participate. This is why we ask you in advance. If there are any impediments to participating between registration and the event, please let us know: together we will look for a person to replace you in time, and your fee will remain valid for another of our activities. However, if the course is canceled or moved by us, you are entitled to a refund.
