Our social carpentry: tools for woodworking (and more!).
Cutting

Compa – ORANGE 250-01
Do you need to cut a wooden block at a right angle? An aluminum profile at 45°? A PVC pipe or a construction material? The miter saw is the right tool.
The cutting head can rotate up to 45° to the right and left or be positioned at the preset angles of 15°, 22.5°, 30°.

PROXXON – DS 230\E
The scroll saw is perfect for small or thin elements. It cuts softwood up to 40 mm, hardwood up to 10 mm, plastics up to about 4 mm, and non-ferrous metals up to 2 mm. Additionally, the thinness of the blade allows for curved cuts.
The worktable measures 160×160 mm, and the external overhang is about 300 mm.

FERVI – 0764
Our most powerful machine for cutting wooden boards and strips, suitable for thick and bulky objects. The cutting table measures 50×40 cm, positioned about 1 meter above the ground, allowing for safe and comfortable cutting. The thickness of the wood to be cut can reach up to 20 cm!

Einhell – TC-JS 60 e Casals – VC 570 PEL
If you need to make cuts without the limitation of a fixed station, the jigsaw is the best mobile solution, suitable for cutting wood, iron, non-ferrous metals, and plastic.
The thin blade allows for freehand cutting of curved shapes from panels of various materials, but it’s also possible to attach a guide to the support frame for perfectly straight cuts. Additionally, the frame can be tilted for making angled cuts.

Valex – SC 160
The handheld circular saw is the best tool for making longitudinal cuts on a large wooden panel or profile without having to resort to fixed stations with limited cutting surfaces.
The perpendicular arrangement of the blade in relation to the metal support allows for 90° cuts, but it is possible to tilt the frame for cuts at lower or higher degrees. It is also possible to adjust the height of the blade to make more or less deep cuts.
Sanding

DeWalt – D26480 e Parkside – PEBS 900W
After building a piece of carpentry, it may be necessary to eliminate burrs, more or less large defects or remove excess filler. If the surface in question is relatively large, the belt sander could be your solution.
The belt sander is also useful for cleaning more or less thin layers from the surfaces of the pieces such as paints or protective products that have deteriorated.

BOSCH – PSS 250 AE e Parkside – PAHS 10.8 A1
While the belt sander is more suitable for eliminating large defects, the flat sander is preferable for more delicate and less aggressive work on the piece.
Perfect for removing the surface layer of old paint, the flat sander uses a vibratory movement of the sandpaper to damage the wood as little as possible.

Einhell – TH US 240
The bench sander is useful for roughing out and finishing soft metal and wood work of all kinds. It is equipped with a stone wheel for working metals and an abrasive belt for small wood finishing touches.
Thanks to its fixed position on the bench, it can be very useful if you need to finish manageable pieces without keeping your hands busy.

Valex – P682
Useful tool for removing irregularities from wooden boards or for thinning portions of wood to the desired thickness.
Power: 500W
Jointing and drilling

Ryobi – LLCDI 1802
The screwdriver is one of the most useful and common tools in the arsenal of a carpenter, worker or maker.
If you need to join two or more elements but you think that the glue solution is not appropriate, perhaps the answer you are looking for is to create some pilot holes with a drill bit and insert the necessary screws.
The Ryobi is supplied with two interchangeable lithium batteries and the tips, both for screwing and for drilling (wood and metal), are not lacking!

Bosch – IXO 3603J59301
The IXO mini screwdriver is the right solution if you need to screw in unfavorable conditions. Its high maneuverability and small size allow you to work in spaces that are difficult to reach with a common screwdriver, such as crevices, recesses and blind spots.

CMI Tischbohrmaschine – C-SBM 350-5
When it comes to making holes perpendicular to the work surface, experience and manual skills can be invaluable, but it is difficult to obtain perfectly vertical holes.
The column structure of the drill serves to solve this problem; the vertical sliding frame allows the drill bit to be lowered without incurring the risk of unwanted inclinations.

Dremel 300
The Dremel drill is one of the most valuable tools in a maker’s arsenal.
Great for all your DIY precision projects, it allows you to carve, engrave, mill, cut, sand, grind, sharpen and polish thanks to the wide variety of accessories it has. Practically a whole range of tools synthesized in a small tool at your fingertips!
Turning

Einhell Tc-Ww 1000/1
When it is necessary to perform interventions on the surface or volume of the cylinders, the lathe comes into play.
In the case in which the wooden element is fixed at both ends, the lathe allows to create handles, legs for tables, decorated cylinders, but if it is fixed at a single end, it will be possible to create flares and hollow shapes, perfect for vases, containers, bowls and other concave shapes.

Bosch – POF 1200 AE
The vertical router has a specific purpose: to groove and trim!
Thanks to its parallel guide, it is possible to trim the edges of profiles or panels but also to create grooves on the inner surfaces. Depending on the insert used, you will obtain straight, curved and circular grooves. It is also possible to set the depth of the groove or its width, depending on the tip used.
