This initiation consist of a training in using all of our woodworking gears and tools and a guidance in how to set up lofoio basing on the task needed to be carried out.
Safety instructions, storing stuff, disposing working waste and scrap and guidelines on how to supply new material are also included.
The training is held by an expert carpenter and a tutor.

To sign up for this initiation advance booking is requested. The cost is 90 euros and includes a session with the teacher and independent session in the makerspace for autonomous practice.
The price covers all materials and tools.
The course is reserved to lofoio‘s associates and the annual membership fee is 10 euros.
Our registration fees cover out-of-pocket costs of the activities we make.
That’s why we ask for advance booking and payment.
If any impediment to partecipate arises between the initiation registration and the event, please inform us: we will try to find someone to substitute you in time and your payment fee will remain valid for other activities.
In case Lofoio should cancel or postpone the event, you are entitled to a full refund.

Once the initiation has been attended, you will be able to access to the joinery autonomously and begin all of your do-it-yourself projects.
Warning: the shared makerspace is usable only on booking and is reserved to lofoio‘s associated.
Moreover, is mandatory to:
– wear protections
– apply safety instructions learnt during the training
– respect other makers safety and space
– dispose your own waste
– clean the work surface and tools by the end of the session
